New York Aquarium

The New York Aquarium is located on Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York. It’s the oldest continually operating aquarium in the United States, having operated since 1896. Inside you’ll find over 350 species of aquatic life including sea otters, black footed penguins, giant pacific octopus, sand tiger sharks, loggerhead sea turtles, and more. 1. Purchase your tickets to the New York Aquarium online and save 10% on your total ticket purchase.
2. Visit the aquarium after 3 pm on Fridays and admission is just by donations. Suggest donation amounts are $13 for adults, $9 for children, and $10 for seniors.
3. If you want to see the 4D movie, purchase the total package and save $2 per person versus purchasing aquarium and theater tickets separately.
4. If you are in the military, show your military ID for free Total Experience Ticket or General Admission ticket plus 50% off for up to three family members.

Additional New York Aquarium Information

The aquarium is open 365 days a year from 10 am to 5 pm most days, staying open an hour later during the summer. Admission to the New York Aquarium is $14.95 for adults, $10.95 for kids ages 3-12, and $11.95 for seniors. Group discounts are also available for groups of 15 or more people. At last check this was a $7 discount per person. You must make your group reservations at least 2 weeks in advance. Parking is an additional $13 per vehicle.
